2nd victim of Retherford's crime rampage identified as North Fort Myers man
NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. - The last victim of Billy Retherford's week long crime spree was a well-liked North Fort Myers man.
Greg Imhoff was shot and killed by Retherford Tuesday night at 2562 Sabal Springs Boulevard in North Fort Myers.
A neighbor tells FOX 4 News that Imhoff had stopped by the vacant house last night to check on it as a favor to a friend. That's where the 61-year-old encountered Retherford who was apparently using the home as a hide out.
Shortly after midnight law officers found Retherford hiding out in a duplex in the 1200 block of Laurel Avenue where he was killed during a shootout.
Retherford was sought in connection with last week's murder of Debra Striano in San Carlos Park. A second suspect in that murder, Retherford's nephew, Dustin Jaye, is in custody.
