Cape Coral police investigate bank robbery
CAPE CORAL, Fla. - Cape Coral Police are investigating a robbery at the 5th/3rd Bank at 1801 N.E. Pine Island Road.
Police say a man walked into the bank and handed the teller a note implying that he was carrying a gun, although he never showed one. The teller gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash and he fled the bank on foot.
The suspect is described as a tanned white man in his late 20's, standing 5'9" to 5'10' and weighing 160 to 170 pounds. He was wearing a red shirt, long black shorts and a black knit cap, a FOX brand beanie.
