Emergency landing at RSW airport
FORT MYERS, Fla. – A Jetblue plane is forced to make an emergency landing at Southwest Florida International Airport.
We're told the New Jersey-bound plane had engine problems shortly after takeoff from RSW.
Jetblue tells us it was because of a bird strike. The plane returned to the airport around 12:20pm.
None of the 144 people on board were hurt. A maintenance crew is currently inspecting the plane.
