FORT MYERS, Fla. - Edison State College is finalizing a pay plan for its new president.
Dr. Jeffrey Albritten was chosen earlier this month to replace former president, Dr. Kenneth Walker.
Under the contract, which was approved late this afternoon, Allbritten will make a base salary of $275,000. That's more than $40,000 less than the base salary of his predecessor, as well as a $1,000 monthly travel allowance.
If Albritten signs the deal, it would go into effect at the end of next month and run through 2015.
