Edison State students tour new dorms
College offers on-campus housing for the first time in its 50 year history
FORT MYERS, Fla. - Edison State College is ready for you to move in. The school is giving tours of its new dorms called "Lighthouse Commons."
4 In Your Corner was there as a group of students got a special tour today.
And there are not your grandaddys' dorms!
The feature 2 bedroom/2 bathroom and 4 bedroom/2 bathroom apartments with full kitchens and washers and dryers in the units!
The dorms also have their own basketball court and gym along with 24-7 security.
The 2/2 units cost $3,330 per semester. Students can also get on a payment plan of $666 over 5 months.
There are also 4 bedroom/2 bathroom units for $3000 per semester. Or students can pay $600 a month for five months.
Edison is offering an open house for those interested in seeing the dorms this Friday from 11am to 1pm. And again on Saturday, June 23rd from 9am-12noon.
The dorms open in August.
