Two more people charged in School check fraud case
FORT MYERS---Lee County Authorities are charging more people in the growing Lee County School check fraud investigation.
Two more people are facing charges in connection with this case. This brings the total number of people arrested to ten since this story broke two weeks ago.
Deputies say the group tried to cash fake checks that looked like they were from the School District. Most of the checks were made out for more than a thousand dollars. More arrests could be coming in this case.
