Hollywood, FLA - Two police officers are being treated for gunshot wounds after confronting a gunman on the Florida Turnpike Wednesday.
Police from several agencies responded to reports of a man shooting at passing cars in Hollywood.
One officer was shot in the neck, the other in the hand. The gunman was shot and died.
The incident backed up traffic for hours while investigators were on the scene.
The officers are expected to survive.
