FORT MYERS---Two Southwest Florida teens charged as a adults in a double murder in court.
The two, accused of killing a Lehigh Acres Mother and Son were to enter pleas today.
16 year old Justin Wirth and 17 year old Clayton Combs were told by a Judge they will be tried as adults in connection with the murders of 43 year old Amy Lorah and her 16 year old son William Dalton Hailey inside their Lehigh home last month.
Hailey and the suspects were reportedly friends in fact the accused shooter lived with Hailey and his Mother for almost a year. Investigators say the pair made off with 370 dollars after planning and committing the murders.
The two stared blankly ahead as Judge Josephine Gagliardi told the teens that they could possibly spend the rest of their lives in prison.
Wirth pleaded not guilty while Combs chose not to file a plea. Even though they are being tried as adults in Florida a conviction of First Degree Murder would not make them eligible for the death penalty because they are juveniles.
The suspects are due back in court next Monday.
