The editors of Naples Illustrated magazine have selected Patrick as one their 14 finalists for their "Superman Election." 

The magazine is encouraging people to go its website, naplesillustrated.com, and vote for their favorite "Superman." 

Naples Illustrated editors are hoping to capitalize on election year fever while highlighting the contributions of some of Southwest Florida's most community-minded men.

The magazine features each man's community involvement.

Patrick also speaks at local schools, colleges, and civic groups - from Kiwanis to Rotary.

"I'll say yes to any good cause that asks," said Patrick.

"I'm very fortuanate to be able to live and work and this community."

"The least I can do is pitch in whenever I can," he added.

"Besides," he said, "it gives me a chance to discover the needs and heroism that we should be covering at Fox 4."
