New surveillance video released of night Trayvon Martin died
Sanford, Fla. - New details emerging about the moments after a neighborhood watchman shot and killed Florida teen Trayvon Martin.
We can now show you the surveillance video taken when he arrived at the Sanford Police Ddepartment.
According to a leaked police report published in the Orlando Sentinel, the neighborhood watch volunteer told police Martin punched him and slammed his head against the ground before he shot martin. He says his nose was broken and he was bloodied, but the video shows otherwise. Zimmerman's defense says he could have been cleaned up before he was taken to the police station.
Zimmermans father is also speaking out this morning saying his son was afraid for his life.
