FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. - A major road reopens 3 hours after a fatal accident on Fort Myers Beach

The crash happened around 8pm Friday night on Estero Boulevard and Lenell Road.

Florida Highway Patrol confirms that an woman in her 60s was struck and killed while trying to cross the street.

Estero Boulevard is reopened now in both directions at that intersection and the accident scene has been cleared.
