Edison faculty, administration agree to 3 percent raise
FORT MYERS - Edison State College faculty negotiated a higher salary for themselves Friday.
After an impasse hearing last week, the faculty union and administration settled on a 3 percent raise, according to faculty member Marty Ambrose.
Faculty salary will be restored to what it was last summer before the state mandated they contribute 3 percent of pay towards their pension, Ambrose said.
The move has to be approved by the board of trustees which meets on Tuesday.
