Nova to open College of Nursing
University now serves 1,500 students
DAVIE, Fla. (AP) - Nova Southeastern University is preparing to open a College of Nursing.
The Miami Herald reports the university in Davie currently serves about 1,500 students. The university has satellite educational centers in Miami, Palm Beach, Fort Myers and Orlando.
The newspaper reports that Nova's nursing program began in 2004 with about 40 students. It has been housed in the College of Allied Health and Nursing.
