NAPLES, Fla. - Hooters corporate honchos are throwing their support behind a fired Estero cheerleading coach.
"That just right there shows why this company is absolutely amazing," said fired coach and Hooters waitress Nicole Zivich. "They back their employees 110 percent unlike what I've gotten from the school district."
In a letter to Zivich, Hooters higher-ups say they are "very proud" of the canned coach for her handling of the situation.
The Lee County School District says Zivich's firing had nothing to do with her Hooters gig. But one complaining parent clearly had an issue with it.
The company wants Zivich to tell her story in Hooters Magazine and represent the company at their annual pageant in Miami next year.
"If there is anything we can do to help in your efforts to get your cheerleading job back please don’t hesitate to ask," a Hooters exec writes.
"All of Hooters is cheering for you," he added.
