Edison State's accreditation future is up in the air
FORT MYERS - Edison State College's accreditation is still up in the air. Board members say they are concerned because the group that decides whether it can keep its accreditation has dinged the college for 14 major violations.
If they don't get those taken care of by April, the college could be put on probation.
"I do not want to go on probation. I want to do as much as I can with my fellow board members to move towards a warning and maybe a clean bill of health if we're being real optimistic." Chris Vernon said.
Board members are hoping their plan to get rid of doctor walker will be a step in the right direction towards cleaning up the college and keeping its accredidation.
