Edison trustees place President Kenneth Walker on administrative leave
FORT MYERS - It's decision day for Edison State College's embattled president.
President Kenneth Walker is now on administrative leave. The decision happening within the 5pm hour at a Edison State board of trustees meeting. Doctor Kenneth Walker meeting tonight with the school's board of trustees to lay out his early exit in the wake of a slew of scandals on campus.
Dr. Walker is not allowed on-campus and can't even go to his office.
The board of trustees want to fire Walker with cause, and they expect Dr. Walker to sue.
The board of trustees agreed to terminate Doctor Bob Beeson. Many educators got up and walked out after the vote saying the board and walker blame Beeson for some of the scandals at the college.
Beeson does have a chance to fight for his job. He plans to appeal the board decision.
