Food donations needed at Homeless Coalition
CHARLOTTE COUNTY- The Charlotte County Homeless Coalition is asking for the community’s assistance with food donations.
They are in need of the following items: turkeys, hams, non-perishable items such as stuffing, cranberry sauce, yams, instant potatoes, rolls/biscuits, juice, gravy, pie filling, pie crusts, canned vegetables and coffee.
Last year the group served over 400 families through their weekly food pantry during the holiday season. As of yesterday, the food pantry had been emptied and needs replenishment.
Meals will be distributed on Friday, November 18th and Wednesday, November 23rd.
