Edison College President recommends termination of VP Atkins
LEE COUNTY - Edison State College's president Dr. Kenneth Walker has recommended the termination of Dr. George Atkins' employment as Vice President of Academic Affairs at the college.
Pending action by the District Board of Trustees, Dr. Atkins has been placed on paid administrative leave beginning Monday.
An announcement about the appointment of an interim Vice President of Academic Affairs will be forthcoming in the next several days.
