LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- A two-vehicle crash with serious injury happened on Pine Island Road on Friday morning.
It happened in North Fort Myers at the intersection with Judd Creek Boulevard, just west of N. Cleveland Avenue.
One person in what appears to be a white SUV was seriously injured, and it took about 30 minutes for them to be extracted from the vehicle. He was transported to a local hospital.
Witnesses tell Fox 4 the white vehicle was turning left onto Judd Creek towards the McDonald's when it was struck on the passenger side by a van.
The van's driver did not appear to be seriously injured.
