CHARLOTTE COUNTY-- A heads up for travelers this week: an I-75 widening project will close portions of I-75 and exit 167 near Harbor View road in Charlotte County.
Here’s what FDOT says will be closed, and when:
· Motorists should expect lane closures on I-75 during nighttime/overnight hours from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. through the duration of the construction.
· Motorists should expect periodic travel lane shifts through the duration of construction.
· Motorists should expect the outside northbound lane on the bridge over the Peace River closed through the duration of the project.
· Harborview Road on-ramp to I-75 northbound will be closed during nighttime/overnight hours from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Sunday, June 18, Monday, June 19, Tuesday, June 20, and Wednesday, June 21.
· Harborview Road off-ramps from I-75 southbound will be closed during nighttime/overnight hours from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Tuesday, June 20, Wednesday, June 21, and Thursday, June 22.
· Harborview Road on-ramp to I-75 southbound will be closed during nighttime/overnight hours from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Thursday, June 22 and Friday, June 23.
