Public parking at Cape Harbour is severely limited after a legal dispute between two businesses closed the public parking garage over a week ago.

Cars are parking in the street and on curbs due to the lack of spaces available.

Vendors at the farmer's market are noticing a significant decrease in customers since the closing.

"We were 20% down last week. We're going to be another 20% down this week," said Colleen Rose, the owner of CNJ Produce.

Even restaurant managers are frustrated, saying not only the staff can't find parking, but customers, residents and resident guests, as well.

"Come season, if this is still going on, it's going to be.. not pretty," said the manager of Fathoms Restaurant and Bar, Amber Blanchard.

Vendors, managers and customers are hoping for a parking solution soon. Blanchard said Cape Harbour has golf cart services on busier nights to bring people to and from their cars to avoid walking far.
