More fundraisers planned in honor of slain Fort Myers police officer Jobbers-Miller

FORT MYERS, Fla. --- Local businesses and organizations continue to celebrate the life and legacy of Officer Jobbers-Miller through different fundraising events. 

According to the Fort Myers Police Department, more businesses are hosting weekend fundraisers to continue raising money for the officers family. 

Residents who would like to donate can do so at one of the two fundraising events being held: 

  • Bubba's Bikes for Badges Ride will be held on Saturday, August 18th starting from Six Bends Harley- Davidson with registration at 8:30 am. Live music by The Electric Mud and The Jack Michael Band all day until 5 p.m. Raffles every hour. Food Trucks, Ice Cream Truck, and vendors will be on-site. For information call 239-275-4647.
  •  Veteran’s Club of America 16701 San Carlos Blvd. Fort Myers on Sunday, August 26th starting at 3 p.m., with entertainment, food, music, raffles and silent auctions. Call 239-466-3177 for information.

The family of fallen Officer Jobbers-Miller and the Fort Myers Police Department express their gratitude for all donations, thoughts and well wishes throughout this difficult time.
