The Minnesota Twins home opener took place Sunday as they hosted the Rays at Hammond Stadium.
The game kicked off at 1:05 p.m. with FOX 4 anchor Amy Wegmann throwing the first pitch.
Guests were asked to bring canned goods and non-perishable items to go towards the Harry Chapin Food Bank.
FOX 4 made a donation of $5,000 towards the food bank.
The Twins did win the game against the Tampa Bay Rays with a final score of 5-4.
