A man is arrested after Lee County Deputies say he took his friend's car while she was sleeping and crashed it.
Tyler Hoyt and his girlfriend were helping the victim move when he took her car while she slept.
The victim told police she didn't realize her car was stolen until her mom called her and said her car was involved in a hit and run crash and Hoyt was behind the wheel. He was later found hiding in the bushes in the backyard of a house near the crash.
The victim says she was afraid to report the accident because Hoyt and his girlfriend were warning her not to report the car stolen.
