Man arrested for impersonating law enforcement

A Miami man was arrested for impersonating a law enforcement officer.

Florida Highway Patrol says they got a call about a man impersonating an officer on I-75 near mile marker 65 in Collier County. FHP says a black Toyota Camry with dark tinted windows pulled alongside another vehicle and rolled down the passenger window.  The driver of the Toyota flashed a badge and motioned for the other vehicle to pull over.  The driver of the other vehicle refused to stop and called *FHP. The Toyota then pulled in front of the vehicle and slowed. 

It was additionally reported to FHP that the Toyota driver was attempting to stop other vehicles in the area as well. 

Troopers conducted a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle near mile marker 41 in Broward County. Troopers identified the driver as 61-year-old Lloyd Chang.

Troopers discovered Chang had a concealed weapons permit badge hanging around his neck and a revolver behind the right front passenger seat.  Chang was arrested for impersonating a law enforcement officer. a 3rd degree felony. and was taken to the Collier County Jail.
