A Naples man is arrested after he allegedly chased his son with a machete, the Collier County Sheriff's Office said.
Deputies responded to a disturbance at 5210 Jennings Street early Sunday morning.
The son explained to deputies that his father, 60-year-old Frantz Villard, began chasing him with a machete after him and his friends were caught smoking in their home, CCSO said.
The son told deputies that Frantz said, "I wanted to kill him" and that he wished they were dead, CCSO said.
Frantz was arrested and taken into custody.
He faces one count of aggravated assault.
