FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Rescue crews responded to a fatal crash along the entrance to Southwest Florida International Airport on Thursday.

Florida Highway Patrol was called to the scene along Chamberlin Parkway around 1:32 p.m. That's the road into the airport terminal off Daniels Parkway.

Troopers say 41-year-old James Sewell of Lehigh Acres was driving through a curve in the road and drifted into the median.  He over-corrected and lost control, hitting a guard rail and a tree.

Sewell was pronounced dead at the scene.
