'Dangerous' man sought in Charlotte County break-ins

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. -- Authorities have identified a man they say is wanted in connection to several home burglaries in the Port Charlotte area over the last month.

27-year-old Blake Guild is known to frequent the northern areas of Charlotte County and North Port.

According to the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office, he is wanted in connection with numerous residential burglaries in the County since approximately mid-April 2017, many of them being unoccupied seasonal homes that are vacant.

Key holders for these properties are asked to check them on a frequent basis and report any unusual activity to the sheriff's office.

Guild may very well be armed and is considered dangerous. Caution should be exercised if Guild is spotted.

He is described as 6’ tall and 200 lbs., with short brown hair. He has numerous tattoos on his left arm and chest.
