Parents are stunned and disbelief after a Cape Coral dance instructor is accused of inappropriately touching a child. The suspect in this case, Nathan Maxwell, who owns and teaches at Y Not Dance on Pine Island Road.

The studio's Facebook page has stellar reviews touting Maxwell for his skills and professionalism. However an incident report paints a picture of disturbing details too graphic to put on air of Maxwell allegedly molesting a young girl who goes to school minutes away from the studio.

Much of the information printed on the report has been redacted but detectives say the student eventually broke her silence by telling a school resource officer Maxwell touched her inappropriately multiple times the past few months. An investigation lead detectives to issue a warrant for his arrest.

"Your heart breaks for that kid," one parent said. "It scares you to death to think it could happen to your kid."

Meanwhile, a bright and welcoming sign sits outside Maxwell's studio, but if you walk close enough, you'll see lights out and a hand written note taped to the front door that reads, "Had to close. Grand dad sick. Sorry!

The note also included a phone number. Four In Your Corner attempted to call the number on the door but no one answered.

Maxwell remains on a $25,000 bond at the Lee County Jail.
