Isolated and quiet are two words that people who live near Cape Coral Avenue would describe their block. This makes the events of Thursday afternoon even more of a surprise to the people who make their home on the street.

"There's not a lot of traffic, mostly just the folks who live on the block", said Ron Weleby.

Weleby has lived in the neighborhood for some time and says it's a quiet place to live. When He came home on Thursday, he didn't expect to see the Lee County Sheriff deputy cars swarming the block.

"There was a number of police vehicles, there were officers in black gear."

According to the Lee County Sheriff's Office, deputies raided a home on the 5300 block of Coral Avenue after a K-9 dog helped find a suspicious substance in a block that was delivered to the house next door.

Deputies arrested 19 year-old Jacob Michael Fields after they caught him picking up the package from his neighbor's doorstep. Deputies caught Fields with more than four pounds of marijuana total.

This is the fifth time an arrest was made in relation to a crime involving marijuana coming to dealers through the mail in Cape Coral.
