A one-year-old Golden Retriever stayed at Pet Coral Resort and Veterinary on Labor Day weekend. When his owner, Robert picked him up from the resort, he noticed a rash and hot spots on the dog's paws. When Robert asked the Pet Coral employees what happened to his dog, Charlie he says they weren't able to give him a straight answer.

Robert told FOX 4 he asked for the resort to cover the cost of Charlie's treatment-- he says they agreed. Yesterday the dog owner followed up with the payment arrangements and he says the employee reneged on their initial agreement.

The bill is $122.

The owner of Pet Coral, Lorena Rapoprt, says she just learned about Roberts frustrations yesterday. Rapoprt told us she "would have been happy to have Charlie checked for free" but too much time has gone by.

The business owner also said Charlie would only be seen for free if he visited the Pet Coral in-house veterinarian. Lorena did not confirm if an agreement would take place between Pet Coral and Charlie's veterinary bill.
