PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla.-- On Monday, construction will begin on Port Charlotte Beach Park to make it easier to get in and around.
Crews will work on sidewalks at the boat ramp, rec center, parking lots, pavilions and restrooms. Those pavilions and restrooms will be closed until the project is finished.
The project is expected to be completed on September 20.
