COLLIER COUNTY, Fla.-- This weekend, you can tie up your laces and walk to help those living with Parkinson's in the community.

The 19th annual Heart and Sole walk is on February 24 in Naples. Linda Goldfied, of the Parkinson Association of SWFL, says that every 9 minutes someone in our community is diagnosed with the disease.

Goldfield also says Parkinson's is the second most frequent diagnosed age-related neurodegenerative disease. According to the Parkinson Association of SWFL, there is no cure or drugs to reverse the disease.

Jennifer and Michael Johnson, of Title Boxing Club in Naples are sponsoring the walk and also offer classes for those who have Parkinson's. The classes are part of the Rock Steady program, aimed to give people with the disease hope by improving their quality of life through a non-contact boxing based fitness curriculum.

If you want to sign up for the 19th annual Heart and Sole walk, you can register online for $25.
