Gartner, Inc. to create 600 new jobs in Lee County

LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- A major corporation is creating hundreds of new jobs in Lee County. Florida Governor Rick Scott announced Monday that Gartner, Inc. will expand in the county, and add 600 new jobs in the process.

The technology company will also invest $21 million into the local community.

Gartner,an information technology research and advisory company, currently employs more than 1,250 Floridians. The new jobs will include positions in sales, client service, research, finance, and more.

Gartner is building a new office building next to its current location in South Fort Myers.

The goal is to have at least 1,700 employees by 2022.
