A Cape Coral couple was arrested and charged with a total of over 300 counts of child abuse and other charges. Of the eleven victims, investigators believe some are under the age of 12.
Daniel & Jenise Spurgeon were arrested on warrants in Alabama. They're in the Lee County jail tonight, pending an extradition hearing.
Daniel was already in jail, after Cape Coral police accused them of abusing ten of their foster children here in Florida.
The Cape Coral investigation prompted Alabama police to start investigating. That's where the couple lived before moving to Cape Coral.
The Spurgeons each face more than a hundred chid abuse charges.
