CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (UPDATE) -- The Oil Well Road fire is now 95% contained. No homes were damaged and no one was injured.
A fast moving brush fire is threatening homes in Charlotte County.
The fire started around 2pm on Oil Well Road in Punta Gorda. Oil Well is now closed at Valhalla.
Right now, the fire is 80% contained.
Two air units are already dropping water in hopes of containing the fire.
So far, no homes have been damaged.
