Naples couple says Comcast gave their phone number away Video by fox4now.comvideo
Phone number frustration, a Naples couple upset saying Comcast continues to hand out their numbers against their will.
Nick and JoAnn Caselli said in twelve years they've never had any major problems with Comcast until this past December when the couple returned to their seasonal home and said their phone service was gone.
Every year they said they pay a small fee to suspend their service with Comcast and keep their number while they're in Wisconsin. But this year, when they came back to Naples, they said the phone number they had used for years was no longer available.
"They've given that number to somebody else and then gave us another number." Nick Caselli said.
The couple said while Comcast admitted to giving away their number and replacing it with a temporary one, it happened again a few weeks later.
Nick and JoAnn said they've spent countless hours on the phone and in different Comcast stores.
" We've talked to 30 some odd people, managers, executive support teams, supervisors agents, nobody can do anything for us so that's why we called FOX4." Nick Caselli said.
A Comcast spokesman told me to send him all of the phone numbers the couple was given and he would look into it, we are still waiting to hear back.
In the meantime, Nick and Joann are desperately waiting for their original seven digits.
"I have some medical issues I have doctors and hospital appointments to maintain in April when we go back up north and God only knows what number their trying to call . It has just been our phone number for so many years anyone who calls down here for us uses that number." Nick Caselli said.
The couple tried getting their original phone number through a different provider, but were told it was owned by Comcast and couldn't be used.
