Update: Police investigate Fort Myers shooting
FORT MYERS, Fla. - A 16-year-old Immokalee girl is on life support and declared clinically dead after a shooting Saturday night in the parking lot of the Ale House at 4400 Kernal Circle in Fort Myers.
Police now have the alleged shooter behind bars.
The investigation started just before midnight when the victim, Kanasha Isaac, arrived at Lee Memorial Hospital.
A witness who drove her to the hospital told police Henry Brunson blocked their car in at the parking lot after they left the restaurant.
He then opened his window and started shooting.
Police arrested 24-year-old Brunson this morning. He is in the Lee County Jail on charges of second-degree murder.
Customers and staff at the Alehouse told police they heard what they thought were fireworks. Detectives later located the crime scene in the parking lot.
