CAPE CORAL, Fla. -  A beating caught on tape at South Fort Myers High School is getting a lot of attention from Fox Four viewers.

Tonette Murph says she warned the Lee County School District a fight was going to happen.

Cell phone video shows Murph's 15 year old daughter getting hit while a crowd gathers in the hallway at South Fort Myers High School. The fight was later posted on twitter by another student.

"Everybody keeps telling my daughter she should have told administration. She told her mom. I'm her protector. I called the school as a concerned parent no one even cared," said Murph.

The troubled mom says the school district didn't respond to her warning.

Ashontae wrote on our Facebook page saying the girl attacked in the video is her niece and she's disappointed in the district posting, "I believe they should have done more especially since my sister called the school to inform them that a fight was going to take place."

Janice wrote, "Disgusting."

Tony from Fort Myers called in saying there must be two sides to the fight.

"Kids get tired of other kids bullying them. You get what you give out, said Tony.

Jenn posted on our Facebook page, "This kind of stuff needs to be told regardless if both parties were willing to comment or not."
