NAPLES - Volunteers gave up their Christmas Day to help feed those less fortunate at St. Matthew's House in Naples.

"It feels great otherwise I would just be at home doing nothing. So it feels good to come out do something," said Emily Evans, who is visiting family in Naples and decided to donate her time.

Those who attended the event were treated to filet mignon, crab cakes, salads and desert.

"I think the volunteers are amazing. Without the volunteers there would be Christmas for the people here at Saint Matthews’s house," said Nikki Giroux.

Santa Claus also made an appearance and gave out gifts to children who otherwise would have gone without on Christmas.
