Viewers Voice: New York Post photo upsets many

LEE COUNTY, Fla. - A controversial picture is striking a nerve with many viewers.

58 year old, Ki-Suck Han was killed when another man pushed him on to the tracks of an oncoming subway train.

A photographer captured a shot of Han moments before the train hit him. The New York Post used the picture as a cover shot.

The freelance photographer said he was too far away to help but the photo has upset many in Southwest Florida.

Matt from Port Charlotte said, "If he was close enough to take that picture of that man, then he was close enough to help that man in the situation he was in. I totally think they should take charges up against him."

More comments flooded the Fox Four Facebook page. Veronica posted, "It's horrific for the family or anyone else to see."
 
Another viewer wrote, "What heartless human being could think about taking a picture while witnessing something so horrific? Every humans first response should be to help."
 
Sandra said, "Its pathetic to blame a photographer who didn't push him there."
 
Heather thought, "What if in my attempt to help him, he pulls me onto the tracks? Can't say I'd take that chance."
 
Some took issue with our station, Fox Four, for posting the picture on Facebook.
 
 "You should have stepped up and said we're not posting this," said Doug.
 
In reference to The New York Post running the photo, Gene said, "that's the NY Post for you. That's what they do. If anyone doesn't like their style they shouldn't buy the paper."
