NAPLES - Golfers and fans alike will flood Naples over the next few days to for the Franklin Templeton Shootout.

"We're just excited about it... I mean it brings a lot of people new to the area," said Jacqueline Fishburn, General Manager at Agave Southwestern Grill.

Last year, Agave opened its door just two months before the Shootout and saw a big bump in sales. They hope to see a repeat performance this year.

"We differently saw about a 20 percent increase in business which was nice," said Fishburn.

Just a few doors down from Agave is Stonewood Tavern and Grill in North Naples.

"We always look forward to the shootout. We get a lot of business from them," said operating manager Tony Priano.

He admits that in addition to the bump in business, there's a bonus for "regular" customers.

"We actually see some of the golfers come in. And it's always fun to see these guys off the golf course."

But will there be a shootout next year?

Bank of America and Merill Lynch opted not to renew its sponsorship last year, so Franklin Templeton picked it up through 2013.

So far, no word yet on whether they will continue to back the event.
