Christmas season kicks off in downtown Naples
NAPLES - Big crowds turned out for the annual Third Street Christmas Walk in Downtown Naples on Monday night.
The highlight of the evening was the Christmas tree lighting that took place just before 6:30.p.m in front of a packed and captivated audience.
Third Street South was closed between 11th Avenue South and 14th Avenue South and replaced with food vendors and street performers that included bell ringers for a local church.
Broad Avenue South between Gordon Dr. and 4th Street was also closed to vehicular traffic.
While the Christmas tree lighting was the main event, snow pumped in from machines attached to lamp posts seemed to be the biggest hit with kids and adults.
If you missed Monday’s event, you can still catch the snow ever night this week at 7:30pm except for Thanksgiving Day.
