CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- Many Fox 4 viewers are calling into the station to voice frustration over the ballot scanner situation at many polling locations in Cape Coral and Fort Myers.

In some cases, voters Tuesday morning have waited in line for more than four hours.  The biggest complaint about the wait is the ballot scanner.

Several callers say their location had only one ballot scanner, which translated into a long wait to scan the ballot.   We received calls from angry voters at Lee County Precincts 29, 39, 48, 104, 113, 114 and 98.

Voters are particularly frustrated at the Vineyard's Church in Cape Coral, where Precinct 94 was at a standstill for more than one hour.

We also received a call from a voter who said at Precinct 21 in Bokeelia that the only ballot scanner was not working properly and that voters were leaving without scanning their ballot.  We have reached out to the Lee Elections Office to get a response.
