NAPLES, Fla. - A Naples Park man says he is disgusted after finding what he thinks a if foreign object - inside a juice concentrate drink known as Capri Sun.

"I suck it up like (and) chewed it up. I'm thinking it's the fruit from that's inside the juice," said Landon Bennett.

After cutting open the pouch that holds the juice, he found something that he says looked like a fleshy substance.

"When I seen that, I just start vomiting," said Bennett. "I want to know what that was that's in my body."

He contacted the company that makes the product and was told it was may be mold, but wants a conclusive answer.

Fox 4 also contacted the company, which released the following statement.

"Without examining the pouch in question, we can't be absolutely certain, but we believe the foreign matter is mold. Because Capri Sun doesn't contain preservatives, which is something many moms appreciate, if there's even a tiny hole in the pouch and air gets in, mold can grow," said Kraft representative Russ Dryer.

The statement goes on to say that the Capri Sun does not use preservatives in its product, which may cause mold to grow.

"That's why the carton contains a cautionary note, recommending you discard any pouches that are leaking.  It's been our experience that the mold is similar to common bread mold and our understanding is that, while it's certainly unpleasant, it isn't a serious health hazard."

Kraft sent a courier to Bennett's house to pick up a sample of the substance for testing.

But until the test results are in, he continues to worry about himself and others.

"How many kids, how many parents out there that go by these Capri Sun, give it to their children, and their children just drinking this?"
