NAPLES -- Collier County Investigators spent Saturday morning at a shopping plaza near Rattlesnake Hammock and U.S. 41 to investigate a possible threat.

According to the Collier County Sheriff's Office, deputies evacuated a shopping plaza that includes a Publix and Bank of America just before 9 a.m. Saturday after someone at the bank reported receiving a suspicious envelope with no labels.

Three other businesses nearby reported receiving similar envelopes.  As a precaution, deputies evacuated all of the businesses in the surrounding area until authorities could determine what was inside the envelopes.  The contents turned out to be nothing dangerous.

The scene was cleared before 2 p.m.
