Southwest Florida reacts to Clint Eastwood's GOP Address
SOUTHWEST FLORIDA - Clint Eastwood's speech lasted a total of 11 minutes and as actors often do, he stole the scene. He had an empty chair next to him pretending he was having a discussion with President Obama.
The quips continued throught the speech drawing much reaction from the crowd. Eastwood at times rambled and whether it was off script or not, he brought the house down. Reaction today in SWFL of the speech.
"I think he was right on," said one Cape resident.
And we also heard lots of this -
"He was getting his knocks in without being disrespectful and I loved it," said one woman.
But not everybody pleased by Eastwood's GOP address. Some folks like Cape resident Carol Fernandez was suprised.
"I was disappointed with the whole paraday," said Fernandez.
