LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. -- The Lee County Sheriff's Office says Crime Stoppers tips led them to arrest two juveniles for the robbery of a Marathon Gas Station last week.

The crime happened just before 10 p.m. August 6th at the Marathon station located at 1490 Lee Blvd. in Lehigh Acres.  The clerk said a man wearing a mask entered the store and demanded money.  The clerk handed over an undisclosed amount of money, and the robber left in an older model dark sedan.

Detectives say they used tips from Crime Stoppers combined with surveillance video from the gas station to identify and capture the suspects.  Because they are juveniles, Fox 4 will not release their names or show their pictures.

Investigators are still looking for two accomplices.  One is described as a white male in his early 20's between 5'7" and 5'9" tall, approximately 260 pounds, with short dirty blonde hair. The other is described as a thin white male in his late teens to early 20's, between 5'7" and 5'8" tall, approximately 165 pounds, with short brown hair.

Anyone with information on this crime or the identities of these subjects is asked to call the Lee County Sheriff’s Office at 239-477-1000, or to remain anonymous and be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1000, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477).
