Cape police arrest bank robbery suspect
CAPE CORAL, Fla. - Capital Bank in Cape Coral robbed for the second time since last September. Police swarmed the Santa Barbara Boulevard bank just after 9 this morning. They say Darin Carignan walked into the bank just after it opened and demanded cash.
He fled on a bicycle to SE 16th Street. Police put the neighborhood on lockdown looking for the suspect. He was eventually arrested at his home at 215 SE 16th Street
Carignan was also charged with robbing a Cape nail salon earlier this week. He was transported to the Lee County Jail.
