Fox 4 getting results over torn US Flag in Naples
NAPLES, Fla. - The Golden Gate Fire Department has taken action following a story on Fox 4.
In Your Corner reported a problem flying high above
Back in June 11th, In Your Corner alerted the fire department that fire station number 70 was flying a severely torn flag about its facility, which is against US Code that details the condition a flag must be in when flown.
That code says the flag must be taken down and repaired or destroyed when it is in bad shape.
"I don't know...the personnel may have not noticed it...the damage could have been over the weekend during those weekend storms. I haven't heard from the personal assigned at that station," said Golden Gate Assist. Fire Chief Nolan Sapp.
